Conducting business electronically, especially on the internet, is quickly becoming the primary platform for most businesses.  Much like the law, ignorance of the internet is increasingly no longer an excuse.  Being able to navigate an increasingly electronic market is a benefit many businesses and business owners will need to master.

In this program, Tripp Watson of The Watson Firm, will be discussing topics from the enforceability of electronic contracts, considerations when drafting contracts for internet-based businesses, and the impacts of emerging technologies such as blockchain.  Representing the BBA's CLE Committee is program moderator Wm. Kent Upshaw of Comer & Upshaw LLP.

Approved by the Alabama State Bar MCLE Commission for 1.0 hour MCLE Credit.  Bring your own "brown bag" lunch and chat with other seminar attendees - CLE presentation begins at 12:00 Noon and concludes at 1:00pm.  Early registration fee for BBA member is $20.00 / NonBBA member $40.00 (add'l $10.00 after 5/8/18) - register early and save!  Don't want to pay with credit card?  No problem, click here to download printable registration form to return with check.
