Have you ever wondered what it takes to plan for a political career, run for political office as judge or legislator?  How about how to earn the respect of partners in your law firm, in the community and countrywide?  Maybe you are interested in how you may overcome the statistical odds in Birmingham to be the female lead attorney in hearings, trials and depositions.  If so, whether you are male or female, you do not want to miss this action-packed, information loaded panel discussion featuring the only woman attorney currently serving in the Alabama Legislature, a respected judge, and a top litigator.

This Women Lawyers Section Mentoring/Leadership event will be held on Tuesday, June 19th at the Birmingham Bar Center.  Panelists include Maibeth Porter, Partner with Maynard Cooper & Gale PC; Honorable Sherri Friday, Jefferson County Judge of Probate; and Representative Juandalynn Givan of the Alabama State Legislature.  LaBella Alvis of Christian & Small LLP will be moderating the program.

CLE presentation is from 4:00pm until 5:00pm with cocktails/networking reception from 5:00-6:00pm - generously sponsored by Hare Wynn Newell & Newton and catered by Kathy G & Company.

Approved by the Alabama State Bar MCLE Commission for 1.0 hour MCLE Credit.  Current members of the BBA Women Lawyers Section attend free of charge, all others may attend for $30.00 registration fee (click here to download printable registration form)
