If you have heard the term blockchain, you probably associate it with the cyber currency known as Bitcoin.  Although the blockchain is a technology that empowers cyber currencies with unprecedented security, transparency and trust, it is also being deployed to sectors traditionally served by lawyers such as executable transactions of every description.  This CLE will provide an introduction to how blockchain technology is disrupting the practice of law and how lawyers can increase their interaction with it to the benefit of their clients.  Join us for "From Bitcoin to the Bar - How Blockchain Technology will Alter the Practice of Law".

Guest speaker is Larry W. Bridgesmith, Adjunct Professor of Law at Vanderbilt University, Program on Law & Innovation.  Moderating this program is W. Kent Upshaw of Comer & Upshaw LLP.
