Our guest speakers for this virtual CLE program are Michael Sweeney and Greg Kaufman of Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP, who will provide overviews and objectives which include the following: - Provide a high-level, foundational understanding of insider trading in commodity derivative markets
- Understand U.S. commodities law and regulations enforced by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission
- Highlight differences between insider trading in commodity derivative markets from such activity in securities markets
- Address different contexts in which companies have exposure to insider trading issues
