• Provide a high-level, foundational understanding of insider trading in commodity derivative markets
• Understand U.S. commodities law and regulations enforced by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission
• Highlight differences between insider trading in commodity derivative markets from such activity in securities markets
• Address different contexts in which companies have exposure to insider trading issues
