Emily Hornsby and Susan N. Han, Chair and Co-Chair of the Alabama Chapter of the Mindfulness in Law Society, will address challenges and stressors in the legal profession, define mindfulness meditation and yoga, and discuss the mental health benefits of mindfulness meditation and yoga, including but not limited to, the increased ability to concentrate, resulting clarity and insight, increased emotional resilience and equanimity, increased work life balance and reduced stress, anxiety and depression, along with the multiple physical health benefits, such as lower blood pressure and increased energy levels.

Application pending approval by the Alabama State Bar MCLE Commission for 1.0 hour MCLE Credit. Registration fee - - Free for current members of the BBA Solo/Small Firm Section and/or BBA Mentees/Mentors
