Please join us for a review of key trends and decisions from the Supreme Court's 2020 Term and a discussion of the Court's docket for the current 2021 Term. The presentation will cover cases about securities law, arbitration, administrative law, intellectual property, and other significant areas of law before the Court. The presentation will be led by Kyser Blakely*, a Supreme Court and appellate litigator at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP.
Moderating the program are CLE Committee members Myra McAbee, Senior Counsel of Chevron Gas and Midstream, and Tiara Young Hudson of the Jefferson County Public Defender Office.

He has argued multiple appeals in federal and state court, and he has briefed significant cases on a variety of business issues such as federal preemption, arbitration, and administrative regulations. Kyser is a former deputy solicitor general for the State of Ohio, and he clerked for Judge Sandra Ikuta on the Ninth Circuit.
